At a Journal Workshop by Ira Progoff At a Journal Workshop so influenced me that "writing to
learn" became the topic of my first dissertation and research focus for
much of my early work.
I continue to draw on the work as I think about my own learning, my
colleagues' learning, and my students' learning.
It serves me well to remember that all knowledge, if it is to be genuine,
must be made personal.
One way of making knowledge personal is by writing in the expressive
mode. It
