Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein I initially came to the double joy of reading and science fiction by reading Robert A. Heinlein's Revolt in 2100 at about age 13. Since then science fiction often has served me as an entertaining diversion or a refuge-a place to think, speculate, and dream. Stranger in a Strange Land is Heinlein's masterpiece and a modern classic. I first read it when it was published and have read it several times since, each time reveling in it anew.
