Political history collections concentrate on 20th century political officials from the North and Central Texas area. As well as the papers of Texas office holders, the collections include a series of interviews by Dr. Allan Saxe with prominent Arlington politicians and interviews conducted by Dr. José Gutiérrez focusing on Mexican-American leaders in Texas.
Texas Archival Resources Online (TARO) contains Special Collections' detailed guides compiled specifically to describe the arrangement and contents of a collection and to comment on its research potential.
