University Archives

Special Collections is the repository for the archival records of enduring historical value of the University of Texas at Arlington. These records comprise the University Archives and include material from the University’s seven forerunner schools, beginning with Arlington College, a private institution founded in 1895, and continuing up to the current university administration.

Texas Archival Resources Online (TARO) contains Special Collections' detailed guides compiled specifically to describe the arrangement and contents of a collection and to comment on its research potential.
