Maverick Activities Center
A MAC Membership card entitles the holder to enter the MAC and swimming pools and provides the ability to purchase services in programs such as Intramural Sports, group exercise classes, massage therapy, personal training, nutrition consultations, fitness assessments, Sport Clubs, and guest passes.
All fee-paying students are automatically members of the MAC.
Faculty, staff, and retirees may purchase a membership card at $80 per semester, payable by:
- Monthly payroll deduction ($20)
- Monthly payment ($20) at MAC Membership Services
- Semester payment ($80) at MAC Membership Services
- Annual payment ($240) at MAC Membership Services
Additionally, faculty, staff, retirees, and students may purchase a membership card (one per year) for their significant partner and dependent children over 18 years for $85 per semester. Proof of common residency must be present for significant partner membership. Membership cards entitle the holder to all privileges except purchasing guest passes. Children under 18 may enter the Activities Building for free accompanied, and under direct supervision at all times, by a parent or guardian and may participate in everything except group exercise classes. Children may swim only in the outdoor pool.
Guest passes are not valid at the tennis center or indoor pool.
Alumni may purchase a membership card for $375 per year only for themsevles, and community members may purchase a membership card for $960 per year for themselves. Guests pay $5 per visit.
A Payroll Deduction Authorization form (MS ™ DOC) may be downloaded or picked up at the Information & Services desk at the MAC. MAV Express ID or a membership card will be required when making a purchase.
