Calculus Bowl Boot Camp

Calculus Boot Camp! Students will spend one week reviewing important concepts from their previous precalculus and/or calculus courses and getting familiar with the new material they will learn in their next precalculus and/or calculus course. This boot camp will give them a jumpstart into the new semester, and possibly allow current Math 1421 students to progress straight to Math 1426 this fall!

The online sessions are three hours each day for one week. To attend, students will need access to a computer with good internet service. It is recommended to have a set of headphones with a microphone.

Students are required to take the Math Placement Test beforehand. The MPT can be found here http://www.uta.edu/math/emporium/mpt. DO NOT enroll in this session without first taking the MPT. Students may be given the opportunity to retake the MPT (without an additional fee) when the course is finished.

Any UTA student who is eligible to enroll in Preparation for Calculus (Math 1421) or Calculus I (Math 1426) with an MPTA score of 17 points or higher.
