"Numerical homogenization of nonlinear partial differential
equations and its applications"

Abstract: The numerical homogenization methods presented in this talk are designed to compute homogenized solutions. In particular we are interested when the heterogeneities have random nature. I will describe numerical homogenization methods that we proposed recently and their relation to some other multiscale methods. Convergence of these methods for nonlinear parabolic equations will be discussed. Numerical examples and applications will be considered.
