Speaker:
Jianzhong Su,
Department of Mathematics, University of Texas at Arlington "Dynamics of Bursting: Model, Analysis and Application"Abstract: Elliptic bursting arises from fast-slow systems for some neuronal models and involves recurrent alternation between active phases of large amplitude oscillations and silent phases of small amplitude oscillations. Mathematically, it concerns with Shishkova-Neishtadt theory on delayed bifurcation or delay of stability loss. In this talk, we will start with a general discussion of delayed bifurcation and dynamics of elliptic bursting, then provide analysis for noisy elliptic bursters.
