``Mathematical Models for Bursting Neurons''

Abstract: In this talk, we will present a general overview of various nonlinear dynamic models for bursting neurons, and their relevance to neurology. We study simplified equations through a geometric method, and hope to understand some of the basic features such as bursting, ramping, rhythm and synchronization of neurons.
