As part of its effort to promote active learning, enhance mathematics research, and facilitate academic exchange, the Department regularly hosts a variety of special events, ranging from summer experience for middle school, high school, and undergraduate students to colloquia and seminars for faculty and graduate students to international conferences that bring world renowned researchers to UT Arlington Campus. These special events and activities have become an integral part of the Department education and research program and significantly increased the visibility of the Department and the University.
