Welcome to the 29th Annual Texas Partial Differential Equations
Conference to be hosted by the Department of Mathematics at
the University of Texas at Arlington.
The conference will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 25
and March 26 on the campus of UT-Arlington.
The city of Arlington is located at the heart of the Dallas/Fort
Worth Metroplex, about 25 miles from Dallas, 15 miles from Fort Worth.
In keeping with tradition, there will be no registration fee, and no principal speakers. All talks will be allocated the same length of time. The intent is to encourage participation by young faculty and graduate students, although there are no funds available for travel support. Registration for the conference is required and all participants should use the On-Line Registration Form or contact any of the organizers listed below. Those who wish to present their research at the meeting should also submit a title and a short abstract by 5pm on Monday, March 20, 2006. DIRECTIONS By air Arlington is located near DFW International Airport (about 10 miles), serviced by American Airlines and others. Dallas Love Field is approximately 20 miles away, and is serviced by Southwest Airlines which offer low-cost airfares. By automobile
Exit at Cooper Street (State Hwy 157). Going South for about 2 miles, you will drive into campus.
Conference building All talks will be held in Pickard Hall. Parking is available just in front of the building in Faculty parking Lot #F10. The parking is free and the gates are open during the weekend. Additional parking lots to use for the Conference would be lots #47 (and #49 if needed) located across S. Nedderman Dr. from Pickard Hall, and lot #45 located across S. West St. from Pickard Hall. ACCOMMODATIONS Accommodations are widely available near Six Flags Over Texas along I-30 and N.
