Soledad O’Brien is an anchor and special correspondent for CNN. Since
joining the network in 2003, O’Brien has reported breaking news from
around the globe and has produced award-winning, record-breaking and
critically acclaimed documentaries. She is also part of CNN’s “Best
Political Team on Television.” In 2010 O’Brien released her critically
acclaimed memoir, The Next Big Story: My Journey through the Land of Possibilities,
and she was awarded Journalist of the Year from the National
Association of Black Journalists as well as the RTDNA/ UNITY Edward R.
