Admission to the Program
Each class is taught approximately every three years. Upon completion of the required MCC courses, a student may enter the program at the beginning of any semester. This level of flexibility allows a maximum number of students to participate in the program without jeopardizing academic quality.
Students must apply and be accepted to UTA before enrolling in UTA classes at MCC. Courses taken at any other college or university (including McLennan Community College) will be evaluated by the UTA Admissions Office to determine transferability. Then the courses will be evaluated by the UTA COBA degree plan evaluator to determine if each course is equivalent to the UTA required course. Students enrolled in this program must meet all graduation requirements as stated in the current UTA catalog to receive the BBA degree.
Enrollment Procedures
- Request a preliminary evaluation of your college credits (optional-not required). This is an unofficial evaluation of courses for the BBA-Management degree. Use the Evaluation Request form included in the information packet to make your request.

- Obtain information about financial aid and scholarships. Associate Recognition Scholarships may be available for full or part time students holding an Associates Degree from McLennan Community College with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. Questions will be answered at 817-272-3561 or email fao@uta.edu
- Request a degree plan from the College of Business Administration. Once you receive a letter from UTA stating that you have been admitted to the university, use the Degree Plan Request form included in the information packet to make your request. (You may not request a degree plan prior to admission because transcripts must first be evaluated by the admissions office. This is an official evaluation of courses for the BBA-Management degree.)

- Register for classes. You can register online at www.uta.edu or by calling 817-272-2726. The schedule of classes to be held in Waco will be available on the UTA-Waco web site
- Obtain a Parking Permit & Student ID. Both of these are available from the MAC Card Office located in the MCC Student Services Building. Student IDs will have the look of McLennan IDs with UTA printed on the bottom. A temporary parking permit for the MCC Campus will be issued to each UTA student.
