The site is designed to provide you with useful information concerning financial aid programs offered through UTA and the process to apply for and receive funding. We offer a wide variety of scholarships, grants, and loan programs to assist with funding the college education of students and families of all income levels. More than 50% of UTA students receive some type of financial assistance. We look forward to assisting you with the financial aid process. ScholarshipsAssociate Recognition Scholarship In partnership with McLennan Community College, the Associate Recognition Scholarship recognizes students who have earned associate degrees at MCC while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Eligibility is determined at the time of Admission to UTA. Recipients must enroll at least half time (6 credit hours through UTA) to be eligible. Other Transfer Scholarships: Upon admission to UTA, eligible undergraduate students will receive automatic consideration for general academic scholarships administered through the Financial Aid Office. The number of scholarships awarded varies from year to year. Not all students who meet the minimum criteria will receive an award. UTA's general academic scholarships are renewable. Recipients must enroll full time (12 credit hours through UTA) to be eligible.
