This is now a traditional collaborative event sponsored by The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, The University of Texas at Dallas, and The University of Texas at Arlington. All three Institutions offer outstanding research infrastructure, cutting-edge expertise, and innovative collaborative opportunities. The continuing purpose of Metroplex Day is to encourage interdisciplinary research across the three Institutions, as well as to stimulate research projects that leverage the strengths of each Institution.

Shuttle service will be provided between UTSW and the UTA. Pickup at UT Southwestern will be at the South Campus Plaza, in front of the Visitor Information. Shuttle times will be:
