George H. Patterson, Ph.D.

George Patterson received his Ph.D. from the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University in 1999 and then conducted post-doctoral research in the Cell Biology and Metabolism Branch of the NIH, investigating the development and imaging of fluorescent protein markers for assessing protein trafficking within the secretory and endocytic pathways. He is a well-traveled speaker, making invited presentations at conferences and symposia in the U.S. and abroad, and his research has been published in several scientific publications.
