Our Partners

We are partnered with five universities and one community college across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex where currently enrolled students can join our Army ROTC program. Those schools are:

  • The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)
  • The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD)
  • The University of Dallas (UD)
  • Southern Methodist University (SMU)
  • Dallas Baptist University (DBU)
  • Tarrant County Colleges (TCC)

We also have a detachment at The University of North Texas (UNT) with partnerships with Texas Woman’s University (TWU) and Collin Colleges.

How ROTC Works

Our program is traditionally a 4-year plan to be taken simultaneously with a student’s academic programs, but it can be condensed all the way down to only a 2-year program under unique circumstances for highly-qualified applicants. The goal is to get you to become an officer in the U.S. Army, but there are many different ways to get you there. Which path you take is going to depend on where you currently are.
