The GRE Waiver

UTA graduates may request that the GRE scores by waived by the Department of Modern Languages. In order to do so a student must:

Have graduated from UTA within three years of the date of desired admission.
Have graduated with a degree in the feeder program for the master's program, i.e., French undergraduate major for French Master's program or Spanish for Spanish; and
Have a GPA of 3.0 in the following areas:
- Major
- All upper level courses
- Last 60 hours, and
- Overall GPA.
