Learning another language is about acquiring an invaluable skill that can be used in a variety of careers. Employers in the fields of Medicine, Law Enforcement, Education, International Business and Government, among others, are eager to hire people who truly command a language or languages other than English.
In the Department of Modern Languages, we like to think of knowing another language as a passport to any career that a student wishes pursue. Students interested in pursuing careers that prize languages other than English should speak to their professors and visit the UT Arlington Career Services
