(Creating Informed Results through Competent Leadership and Empowered Supervision)
Project Goal: to develop and implement supervisor capacity development strategies that will result in sustainable system and organizational change at the direct service supervisory staff level and ultimately to field staff to improve safety, permanency, and well-being outcomes for children and families.
1) Develop a comprehensive supervisor practice and policy model aligned with Arkansas DCFS Practice Model and organized around the 3Cs of Care, Commit, and Connect;
2) Enhance supervisory preparation, support and practice at all levels of leadership and implement the strategic plan created from Care, Commit and Connect workgroups; and
3) Create and sustain a supportive environment at the supervisory level to enhance decision making, critical thinking and team building skills of staff through use of the implementation of a Learning Circles Initiative.
