Senior Research Associate

The Butler Institute for Families at the University of Denver is looking for a Senior Research Associate to join the evaluation and research team.

This position is responsible for a broad array of activities associated with research and program evaluation including multi-method evaluation and research design, data collection, statistical analysis and interpretation and reporting. This position also requires skills for conducting participatory and collaborative evaluation in a team environment, including the ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders and excellent communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong project management skills, such as budget projection, working with an evaluation team, coordinating multiple tasks and stakeholders, and grant writing.

Preferred credentials and experience include a Ph.D, in social work or a related social science discipline, and several years experience in program evaluation in child welfare or human services. Applicants with a Master’s degree and five years program evaluation experience will also be considered. 

Experience in the following areas is desirable:

  • Child welfare
  • Implementation research
  • Evaluation of systems-change initiatives
