Sponsorships

Before your department agrees to sponsor an event or a group, please make sure that you follow these guidelines:

1.  The University of Texas at Arlington has exclusive contracts with Coca-Cola and Wells Fargo bank.  Please do not sponsor any companies who are direct competitors with these two companies.

2.  All contracts for advertising or other sponsorships with outside entities should always go through John Hall, Vice President for Administration and Campus Operations or Rusty Ward, Vice President for Business Affairs and Controller.  No one else should sign a contract on behalf of The University.

3.  Do not enter into any advertising or other sponsorship of any high school organization.  There are very strict NCAA guidelines with regard to colleges and universities advertising to potential student-athletes.  Even if the program or fundraiser has nothing to do with athletics at the high school, UT Arlington has decided that it is better to avoid any possible conflict with regard to NCAA rules.

If you have any questions about these guidelines, please contact Marketing Services.
