Chuck is one of the founders of Digital Marketing Services (DMS), originally a joint venture between AOL and M/A/R/C Research. DMS provides online sample to the research industry via Opinion Place, its online site that leverages the breadth of AOL and the Time Warner internet properties. DMS has been a pioneer in online marketing research since 1995, and through ongoing innovation continues to help shape the research industry today.

Chuck currently serves as General Manager for DMS, after leading operations and technology since the company’s founding. The current success of DMS is due largely to Miller’s technical and methodological innovations. Chuck is recognized as an online research expert, playing a pivotal role in developing methods and standards for the research industry. Additionally, he is highly regarded for his expertise in transforming more traditional research methods into online applications. Miller’s ability to bring insight and focus to internet research provides great value to DMS and its clients.

Prior to DMS, Miller worked for ten years at The M/A/R/C Group in a number of positions ranging from sales and account management to technical development and oversight. Miller is recognized for his success using early PCs and mainframes to develop automated analysis and reporting systems, allowing the creation of customized client reports in a timely and cost efficient manner. In its time this innovation was a business differentiator in the research industry.

Chuck serves as a frequent conference speaker and panel participant. He is highly involved in the research community, contributing to various initiatives for the ARF, CASRO, ESOMAR, and MRA. Miller was co-founder of the EXPLOR Awards, now presented annually by the AMA to the research applications that leverage technology in the most innovative fashion. Chuck is a member of the graduate advisory boards for the University of Wisconsin’s AC Nielsen Center for Marketing Research and the University of Texas at Arlington’s MSMR program.

Miller holds a BA in Economics from DePauw University, completing the honors curriculum of the Management Fellows program.
