Chuck is one of the founders of DMS, a leader in online research since 1995. DMS provides sample to the marketing research industry via online panels and Opinion Place, which leverages websites reaching 90% of U.S. internet households to create broad-based, real-time consumer samples. In addition to inventing this methodology (aka “river sampling”) DMS has a heritage in delivering innovative research solutions to its clients.
Chuck leads DMS for uSamp, and prior to that led DMS at AOL, integrating with research, marketing and business intelligence functions. During his tenure at The M/A/R/C Group Chuck served in various capacities in account management, analytics and IT. As a recognized online research expert, Chuck frequently publishes findings, speaks at conferences and contributes to many industry standards initiatives.
Chuck is past Chair of the graduate school advisory board for the University of Wisconsin’s AC Nielsen Center for Marketing Research, one of the five MR industry advisory boards on which he serves. Miller was co-founder of the EXPLOR Awards, presented annually by the AMA and IIR for the most innovative research applications. For his pioneering work in online research, Chuck is named Inventor of a U.S. patent titled a “Screening and Survey Selection System and Method of Operating the Same.”
