Roger Gates

Roger Gates is President and CEO of DSS Research. He was a cofounder of the company in 1982.

DSS Research is focused on assisting companies and individuals make better decisions related to marketing, developing or purchasing health care products and services. More than 90 of the nation’s top health insurance plans, hospitals, medical products, pharmaceutical companies and large employer groups call DSS their preferred provider of health care market research services.

Dr. Gates is a is also a founding director of Worthington National Bank in Fort Worth, Texas.

He is coauthor of Marketing Research, 8th edition and Marketing Research Essentials, 7th edition, both published by John Wiley and Sons. The books are used in hundreds of universities around the world and have been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, Indonesian and other languages.

Dr. Gates holds MBA and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Florida.
