Brent serves as Executive Vice President at TNS, the world’s largest custom research company and a leading provider of social and political polling. He currently oversees the business development and client service groups within TNS’ North American consumer goods and services sector, a group comprising 200 professionals who combine specialist sector knowledge with expertise in the areas of new product development, market understanding, brand and advertising research and stakeholder management to bring our clients up-to-the minute, internationally consistent information.

For the past 25 years, Brent has held a number of positions within TNS, including those of Account Executive, Vice President/General Manager of the Chicago regional sales office and Regional Senior Vice President. His industry expertise includes consumer goods but extends to financial services, telecommunications, travel and tourism. Before joining TNS, he spent six years as a teacher in the public school system including two years as coordinator for programs for the intellectually gifted.

Brent serves on the TNS North American Operating Board as well numerous company committees. He holds a master’s degree in education and a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Virginia.
