We are pleased to announce the kick-off an exciting new program! The Multicultural Mavericks team is made up of energetic and creative students excited about designing activities that help to celebrate the rich cultural diversity at UTA! The purpose of this program is to provide a venue for student input into the creation and implementation of programs aimed at promoting multicultural awareness on campus.

By joining the Multicultural Mavericks, you have the opportunity to

• Meet new friends and have fun!
• Gain valuable leadership experience!
• Help to positively contribute to diversity appreciation amongst our community!

This is your chance to share your ideas and have a voice in shaping cultural celebration events for the 2008-09 year! Events include: Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian Heritage Month, Black History Month, and Women's History Month.  All current students are eligible to participate!
