Diversity Recognition Awards
Join us at our annual end-of-semester celebration honoring student leaders and organizations that have made a positive impact on Multicultural Affairs and the university. Traditionally held the last Wednesday of April, the Diversity Recognition Awards ceremony provides an opportunity for us to recognize the contributions and achievements of individual students and student organizations. Selected student award recipients and their guests are invited.
Excellence awards that are presented at the ceremony include
Multicultural Affairs Distinguished Service
Award
(given to students presented with our departmental hall of fame honors)
- Outstanding Multicultural Mavericks of the Year
- Outstanding L.E.A.D. Member of the Year
- President Appreciation Award
(given to chief officers of major multicultural student organizations)
