Cultural Programs

Celebrate the rich diversity found at The University of Texas at Arlington! All students, faculty and staff are welcome to benefit from the variety of learning opportunities we have in store for you. From special performances, cultural celebrations, seminars, to philanthropic events, Multicultural Affairs is pleased to host multiple activities that help to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all members of our campus community!

Check out the following Multicultural Affairs flagship cultural programs:

  • Don’t just talk about UTA’s diversity, get directly involved! All UTA students are invited to join the Multicultural Mavs and help host campus celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian Heritage Month, and Black History Month.
  • It’s a Maverick World! Each spring, the entire campus is encouraged to attend UTA Diversity Week which includes a variety of educational and networking events that highlight many of the rich cultures that make up our Maverick community.
  • Check out our calendar for additional cultural events supported by the department including Dia de los Muertos, Diwali Festival of Lights, the annual Benefit Powwow hosted by the Native American Student Association and Honors College, plus the annual International Week hosted by the International Student Association.
