Multicultural Distinguished Service Society
Each year during the annual Diversity Recognition Awards, the names of a specially selected group of students selected for Multicultural Affairs hall of fame honors are revealed. Chosen by the Multicultural Affairs professional staff, these students are presented with the Multicultural Distinguished Service Award.
Approximately 10-12 students are chosen each year for their
- Excellence in service to the community,
- Commitment to promoting social justice and diversity, and
- For outstanding support of the mission of Multicultural Affairs.
Through their dedication as involvement in multiple realms of student life, these students have exemplified the highest ideals of servant leadership. In previous years, the award was also known as “Multicultural Senior Society.”
