UT Arlington offers largest scholarship ever-DEADLINE APPROACHING!

The University of Texas at Arlington is launching the most generous scholarship it has ever offered to undergraduate students. The Honors Distinction Scholarship will provide $20,000 per year for up to four consecutive years for education-related expenses to a limited number of outstanding first-time freshmen entering the university in the fall semester. The merit-based scholarship is expected to be highly competitive. All application materials for the Honors Distinction Scholarship should be submitted by Feb. 16. Maverick Leadership Scholarship

Due March 13, 2009

Minimum Eligibility:

• Demonstrate active leadership involvement in a variety of activities throughout high school.

• Minimum 1100 SAT or 24 ACT test score.

• Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.25 on 4.0 scale or equivalent.

• Recommendation letter from club or organizational advisor that can address your leadership abilities.

Any individual applying for the Maverick Leadership Scholarship must have been admitted into UT Arlington by March 13,2009. The minimum eligibility is the criteria for consideration and not everyone who has met the criteria will receive ascholarship. Recommendation letter’s must be in a sealed envelope and submitted with the application form.
