Apply for 2009-10 Multicultural Mavericks Executive Board

Be a Multicultural Maverick!

Gain valuable leadership experience while helping to celebrate diversity at UTA! Applications are now being accepted for the Multicultural Maverick Executive Board for 2009-2010. The Exec Board will be responsible for overseeing planning for:

  • Hispanic Heritage Month
  • Asian Heritage Month
  • Black History Month
  • Women’s History Month

  • Be a paid student employee in Multicultural Affairs
  • Appointment begins summer 2009 and ends May 2010
  • Salary:  $8.50/hr, minimum 15 hrs per week, maximum 19 hrs/wk
  • Minimum GPA required:  2.25
  • Eligibility:  work-study and non work-study
  • Must be enrolled at UTA through May 2010

  • 4 positions available

Board members will rotate positions for each month; thus having the chance to gain experience in 4 different leadership roles:

    • Chair of Month
    • Social Chair
    • Education Chair
    • Community Outreach Chair

Interviews:
Individual Interviews will be held April 27th – 30th
Applicants must complete one individual Interview & 1 group Interview.
Group Interviews will be held:

  • Monday April 27th, Noon - 1:00pm (or)
  • Thursday April 30th 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Results announced May 1st
