Women’s History Month
March

Women’s History Month is a chance to acknowledge and show our appreciation for the significant contributions that female leaders, scholars, family members and researchers have played in our society.  The Multicultural Mavericks invites the entire campus community to learn about women who blazed new trails in history while recognizing outstanding women who continue to make an impact today.  Featured events include service project, Women’s Studies speaker series, the 3rd Annual Women in Leadership program and the Women of Excellence Awards

Plus, mark your calendars for the first week of Marchf or Diversity Lecture Series and our featured guest speaker Dr. Maura Cullen, acclaimed social justice speaker and author.

Students interested in helping plan Women’s History Month are encouraged to join the Multicultural Mavericks planning committee that begins meeting in November 2009Don’t miss the Women’s History committee mixer on November 9th at noon in the UC Carlisle!
