Conferences

Throughout the year, Multicultural Affairs offers rising and current student leaders the opportunity to attend leadership development conferences around the state of Texas.  Selected students benefit from Multicultural Affairs partial or full sponsorship of transportation, lodging and registration fees associated with each conference. 

All UTA students are eligible to apply and instructions are available via our website.  Applications and additional details for conferences become available approximately 1-2 months prior to event date.  Special consideration is given to students in the P.A.S.S. and Multicultural Mavericks (although acceptance is not guaranteed).

Eligible students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Grade point average wil be considered in selection.
