What is the SBSLC?

The Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference is held each January at Texas A&M University, uniting hundreds of students and advisors, nationally renowned speakers and a variety of corporations from throughout the entire country. This unique forum provides an opportunity for African American/Black students in the southwest to assemble to address the problems and concerns that affect the community.

How can I participate?

Multicultural Affairs will be sponsoring a select group of UTA students to attend this special event. Students must apply for consideration. Students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average to be eligible. Grade point average will be considered in selection.
