39th Annual UT Arlington Jazz Festival
The 39th Annual UT Arlington Jazz Festival will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013. We are excited to offer the festival this year on the UT Arlington Campus, in the Hereford University Center.
In addition to competing for ratings, scores, and judges’ comments, each band will receive a separate 25 minute clinic with a feedback clinician. The evening awards concert will feature the UT Arlington Jazz Orchestra with our guest artists, Gale and Mario Cruz. Gale is a fantastic vocalist and Mario is a world class tenor saxophonist. Both spent over 25 years in the New York music scene, playing alongside the world's best musicians.
