Audition Requirements - Undergraduate
Perform two pieces, at least one of which should be in a foreign language. The pieces should be classical in nature, rather than pop or Broadway. Bring a legible copy in the correct key for the accompanist, which will be provided. Recorded accompaniments are not permitted. Memorization is desirable but not required; if you need to use music, be sure to bring two copies.
You will be asked to arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. At this time, you will also be given a very brief song to learn to the best of your ability and sing during your audition.
Letters of recommendation (2 or 3) are strongly encouraged. Recommenders should speak to your musical ability, character, and potential for success in pursuing music at the college level. You may bring the letters to your audition, or have them mailed directly to:

Music Department, Box 19105
