Bluebonnet Hornfest Coming to UTA
The 2014 BLUEBONNET HORNFEST to be held at UTA on March 28-29.
Special guests include the internationally renown Four Hornsmen of the Apocalypse horn quartet and Karl Kemm, professor at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, presenting his amazing History of the Horn presentation. Houghton Horns will present a workshop on basic maintenance (oiling valves, stringing valves, etc.) and will be exhibiting many of their highly sought-after horns.
The Hornfest is designed especially to get young horn players, specifically, middle school (including beginners) and younger high school students, excited about playing the horn.
