The Music Department at the University of Texas at Arlington is proud to present the 9th Annual Texas All-State Choir Summer Camp. This camp helps singers to be successful in their journey to the Texas All-State Choir and is a wonderful place to make new friends and experience the fun of learning music. This year's camp, held from August 2nd through 5th, features nationally recognized directors teaching and assisting students in preparation of the All-State audition music and development of sight-reading skills. Since enrollment is limited, students are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Applications will be accepted on a space-available basis and processed in the order they are received. We are pleased to have access to UTA’s state-of-the-art residence hall, Kalpana Chawla Hall. Built in 2006, it is one of the premier housing facilities at any Texas University. In order to register, please fill out the registration form and mail it along with your payment (deposit or full amount) as well as the medical release forms downloaded from our website: www.uta.edu/music/summercamps/choir. Once your application has been received, we will send a confirmation letter indicating your acceptance to the camp along with additional information such as balance owed and a camp schedule. This does not include room and board for residents, or meals for commuters. If you will be a resident at the camp, the price for room and board is $120, and if you will be a commuter the price for meals is $50. Please include a note with your registration packet that you were an All State-Student. We will verify the names of students that register. Please contact Kate Zrust for more information about this.
