Founding Director of the Texas Cello Academy, Dr. Morrow is
Associate Professor of Cello at the University of Texas at
Arlington. She has toured extensively as a recitalist in
North America, Europe and Asia and can be heard on Centaur
Records. |

A native of Croatia, Nikola Ruzevic has
established himself as an international performer and
teacher. He has performed throughout Europe, Asia and
North America, where he as received critical acclaim for his
artistry. Mr. Ruzevic is returning to UTA for his eighth
year as instructor with the Texas Cello Academy. |

A native of Arlington, TX, Philip von Maltzahn
completed his Masters of Music at the Eastman School of
Music. After studies with Elizabeth Morrow, he was awarded
a full scholarship to attend Indiana University. Mr. von
Maltzahn is a member of the Degas String Quartet, Assistant
Principal Cell of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra and teaches
chamber music at Appalachian State University. |

Clifton Evans is excited to accept his new
appointment as Director of Orchestras at the University of Texas
Arlington. Formerly, Dr. Evans served as Director of
Orchestras and Chamber Music for the High School for the
Performing and Visual Arts, Music Director for the Gilbert and
Sullivan Society of Houston, Conductor for the Houston Youth
Symphony, and Music Director and Conductor of the Houston Civic
Symphony. Dr. Evans received his doctorate in Orchestral
Conducting from the University of Houston. |

Allison King is an Assistant Director of
Orchestras at Arlington's Martin High School and the string
teacher at Dunn Elementary School. She holds Bachelors of
Music in Cello Performance from the University of Southern
California, and a Masters in Music Education and a Certificate
in Cello Performance from UT Arlington. |
