Experience African Culture!!!!!! |
| Study and experience West African Culture in its traditional setting. On site traditional musicians, Artists and guest lectures combine visits to celebrations, ceremonies, and rituals with instruction. Traditions are studied from a perspective that emphasizes participation and observation. |
Program components include: * Four weeks of study in Africa with traditional artists, storytellers, musicians, dancers * Study African Arts and customs * First-hand experience doing field research * Opportunity to visit music events, museums, natural parks, and historic sites * Wide ranging study of culture, traditions, dance, singing, food, and language, |

Before you go: Passport and Visa required. You must have a current passport. Tourist visa required for stay of up to 30 days (extendible). Visa requires 4 recent photos (taken not more than 3 months before the date of application) |
