Physics professor honored
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that Ramon Lopez, a University of Texas at Arlington professor of physics, has been named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Changing community
KXAS-TV and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram both reported on a new five-story apartment community planned for the area immediately adjacent to the UT Arlington campus, an “area seeing significant growth.” While the UT Arlington community, including students and faculty, is invited to live in the proposed new complex, developers intend to target to community to young professionals in Arlington.
