Professor named finalist for national honor
Victoria Farrar-Myers, a UT Arlington political science professor, has been named among 20 finalist for a national honor for unsung heroes awarded by recipients of the nation's highest military recognition, the Medal of Honor, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported. The 15-year instructor at UT Arlington, an author of four books on politics, is a candidate for one of three Citizen Service Before Self Honors awarded by the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. The winners will be announced March 22.
