Job market explored for graduates

Christine Nicholson, a UT Arlington broadcast journalism students, was highlighted in a Dallas Morning News story and front page photo about the job market for 2012 college graduates. Nicholson worked in marketing for several years before she returned to college to realize a dream: to become a news reporter. The Euless resident graduates May 12 and enters a job market that is slowly returning from the depths of the recession, with many industries once again hiring. Soon-to-be graduates and those just out of work have room for optimism. But, as Nicholson has learned, it’s competitive.
