Arlington paralympians advance

KXAS NBC 5 aired a story about two paralympians who are representing the United States in the Paralympics this summer. Jason Nelms, a five-time All-American at UT Arlington, and Darlene Hunter both live in Arlington now and are training for the games. Doug Garner, coach of the Movin' Mavs, UT Arlington's wheelchair basketball team, has known Hunter and Nelms for years. "The coolest thing about Darlene and Jason is, they don't go out and sell themselves. There's not a 'Jason Nelms brand' or a 'Dr. Darlene Hunter brand.' They just love basketball, and they love to help other people enjoy sports." The station's website also ran a story about the Arlington paralympians.
