Partnering for a new professor/critic
The website News & Tech reported that The Dallas Morning News is working with The University of Texas at Arlington to create a joint architecture professor/critic position. The faculty member will teach at the university as well as provide architecture criticism for The Morning News.
Flight closely watched
Several other newspapers around the country repeated a Los Angeles Times piece on hypersonic flight that quoted Dora Musielak, an adjunct professor of physics at The University of Texas at Arlington. The Seattle Times, Idaho Statesman and Hartford Courant said an unmanned experimental aircraft will attempt to fly at Mach 6 for 300 seconds today. "Once the military proves out the concept, hypersonic transport becomes a step closer to reality," Musielak said.
