UT Arlington educators receive online teaching grants

UT Arlington educators Kimberly Breuer in history, Joohi Lee in education, and Beth Mancini and Jean Ashwill in nursing all were named in the first round of research grant recipients through the Faculty eCommons Research Grant Program, Fox 43 in Tennessee, WUPV in Virginia, WMBB News 13 in Florida and several other websites reported. Academic Partnerships funds and administers the program, which aims to support faculty research on the impact and effectiveness of online learning. Academic Partnerships also announced that grants from the program in 2013 would be doubled to $100,000. Academic Partnerships partners with UT Arlington and other universities to deliver full-degree programs online.
