Poster leaving nursing dean position
Elizabeth C. Poster will leave her position as Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington this spring and will return to teaching in 2014, the Dallas Business Journal reported. She has been dean of the College of Nursing since 1995. Under Poster's leadership the college has a 94 percent graduation rate and enrollment grew from roughly 1,900 students in 2008 to nearly 8,000 students this spring, the university said in a release. Jennifer Gray, will serve as interim dean.
Cross named to Forbes list
Forbes Magazine named UT Arlington men's basketball coach Scott Cross to the top 10 mid-major coaches who represent the best bang for the buck, WFAA Channel 8 reported.
