UT Arlington professor searching for available bandwidth

Qilian Liang, a UT Arlington electrical engineering professor, has received a $470,000 National Science Foundation grant that could automatically locate available space within a bandwidth that would reduce or eliminate dead spots in cell phone coverage, Science 360 News Update reported. The announcement also appeared in eScience News andPhys.org.
