Social work graduate wants to serve as example
When he collected his diploma Saturday, Irving Tyrone Deckard, 55, became the first in his family to earn a college degree, The Dallas Morning News reported. It’s been a long journey and the Grand Prairie resident wants to inspire his five children, 12 grandchildren and the boys he mentors in GPISD to attend college.
