ARLINGTON - Local business and industry leaders can find “one-stop shopping” for cutting-edge research collaborations and partnerships at UT Arlington College of Science's Research Day from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the Chemistry and Physics Building, 700 Planetarium Place.
The event will offer the opportunity to exchange ideas with some of the leading researchers in fields such as energy, health care, genomics, nanotechnology, materials chemistry and more. There will be a poster session and faculty interaction from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by a keynote address from Congressman Joe Barton.
Research Day concludes with a wine-and-cheese reception from 4 to 5 p.m. More than 140 posters have been submitted for display, representing the latest breakthroughs and technology of UT Arlington researchers and scientists. Visit http://www.uta.edu/cos/researchday to register.
